Mariouche Gagné date of birth in Loretteville, in Amerindien Village wich became the head of Harricana's production.



Mariouche plants trees - and 200,000 rather than one! - before joining Collège Lasalle in fashion design.


Mariouche won the prize of the competition Young fashion designers in Paris organized by Maison Cartier and Air France. There follows an internship at Printemps Haussmann in Paris


The Montreal Fashion Foundation supports Mariouche's work by awarding a $ 17,000 prize.


While studying at the Domus Academy in Milan, Mariouche participates in the Young Designers Competition sponsored by the Canadian Fur Council with reversible ski clothing. The material resources are lacking, she uses an old coat belonging to her mother to complete the work begun. A prestigious second prize will be awarded.



Mariouche signs her first creations under her Harricana label and Simons Québec becomes her first customer. In the Gifu Fashion Contest in Japan, the young designer represents Italy, via the Domus Academy in Milan, and goes to the world finals.


Mariouche traveled to Kuujjuaq to teach sewing to Inuit women who have been practicing ancestral techniques since childhood


She studied human resources management with Georges Couture 


She graduated with a certificate in retail management from HEC Montréal.

Mariouche became Artistic Director of the Canadian Hat brand and benefited from the coaching of Diane LANCTÔT, owner of Canadian Hat and Lanctôt Ltée.
