Refund policy

You are not so excited with your product for some reason? Wrong size, wrong colour or not what you expected? No problem! You may return any item for exchange or refund within 30 days of receiving it.

You can return or exchange any item if:

  • The item must have been ordered online on harricana.qc.ca or canadianhat.ca or purchased at the Harricane|Canadian Hat 1918 atelier-boutique in Verdun or through an authorized merchant.
  • If purchased online, the item must have been shipped to Canada.
  • It must not have been more than 30 days since your item was delivered.
  • The item must be in new, unworn, unwashed, unaltered condition and returned in its original packaging including tags and labels.

Important Notices:

  • Discounted (final sale) items and gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Shipping charges incurred on the initial transaction are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping fees apply for parcels coming from Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

How To Return Your Items

We must first evaluate your request and see if it meets the above criteria. If it does, we will send you an email including your authorization and return RMA number.

  1. Click here to fill out the return form and get your authorization.
  2. Receive our answer with your RMA number.
  3. Pack the items you’re returning in a box or envelope of the appropriate size. Items must be in new condition, with their original labels and returned in their original packaging.
  4. Make sure that the RMA number we sent you is clearly written on the box accompanying the returned items.
  5. Please print the return authorization and put it in the box that accompanies your return.
  6. Print your return shipping label. (A prepaid return label will be sent to you within 24 to 48 hours business).
  7. Attach the label to the package. Cover or remove any old shipping labels.
  8. Track your return using your tracking number to make sure we get it.
  9. Your refund will be processed within 15-20 business days. You will receive an email confirming the refund of your order.

Returns From Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut:

  1. Pack the items you’re returning in a box or envelope of the appropriate size. Items must be in new condition, with their original labels and returned in their original packaging.
  2. Make sure that the RMA number we sent you is clearly written on the box accompanying the returned items.
  3. Please print the return authorization and put it in the box that accompanies your return.
  4. Please return your package to the address provided to you in our RMA approval communication.
  5. Please send us the tracking number for the return to info@harricana.qc.ca.
  6. Track your return using your tracking number to make sure we get it. Your refund will be processed within 15-20 business days. You will receive an email confirming the refund of your order.

Warranty

Harricana | Canadian Hat 1918 offer a 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY AGAINST MANUFACTURING DEFECTS on all products purchased on harricana.qc.ca and canadianhat.ca, at the Harricana|Canadian Hat 1918 atelier-boutique in Verdun and through authorized dealers.

Warranty Does Not Cover Products:

  • Purchased from unauthorized dealers.
  • Purchased through auction sites such as eBay or Craigslist.
  • Purchased through unauthorized dealers selling via third party marketplaces such as Amazon Marketplace and Facebook.

Please note: if you purchase our products from such non-certified merchants, the merchant must state in writing, before the transaction is finalized, that the manufacturer’s warranty does not apply. A merchant who fails to do so will be required to honour the terms of the warranty and cover any expenses incurred.
